I was at the Pri-med South Conference this past weekend. Big conference as usual and attended by AC. Jon was there and we had some very interesting discussions.

1. Version 5 will officially release soon... No exact date given. He uses the Beta in his own office and he reports it is very stable.
2. PM to be follow hopefully by the end of the year, or so.
3. AC Iphone app, possibly soon. No timeframe given. He described a sync to the iphone that would allow you to carry the database or parts of it with you. The user interface would allow you to quickly look up information when you are on call. He did not have a demo version with him. It is just what he described. You would not be able to modify the database, just view only.

Just some interesting discussions with Jon.

Thanks,
Jay

Expected to be Sunny and 70 today.

I hope he will consider the droid platform or even palm also; iphone not as useful or ubiquitous in Nebraska.

I have seen the beta of the Iphone version - he told me that he was also working on a blackberry version. Unfortunately each has its own programming language and costs him a bit...he is a blackberry person, but said it was hard to avoid the marketing - 'we have an app for that'

I am already using Amazing Charts on my iPhone. Indeed there is an App for that! Not a hijacker, I'll post a little thread about this in case anyone else is interested or doesn't already know.

Well, I think it would be more useful to get V5 working and get a PM module rather than an iphone app.

Also, the iPhone version of LogMeIn Ignition works excellently to access office computers from the iPhone.

Agree, we would all love a dedicated Iphone app for AC, but I would take the full PM module first. Logmein ignition is a good app for now.

I am jumping into V5 this weekend, and praying hard that there is no hangup.
