I've started playing around with the Health Maintenance. A few issues.
1) I can no longer print off a simple vaccination record. I get a lot of requests for this.
2) The Health Risks (which causes the Health Maintenance Items to show up) must all be selected manually, even in the diagnosis is already in the chart. For example, a patient with a diagnosis of diabetes will already have code 250.xx in the problem list. But you must still manually check this off in the Health risks. This should check for 250.xx and automatically check it. Same for hypertension.

You can do a shot record. You have to go to the summary section, under health maintainance, then the complete tab and it will give you the ability to print vaccines.
It still has issues with importing the old vaccines. You have to go to the "main" Health Maintenance tab, if there are old immunization records it sees, it will create a migrate tab.
Yeah, it does not read the problem lists or PMH. Maybe in the future. It can't recognize old vaccines quite yet. It is a work in progress.
It seems I saw something that would suggest these may be tied in with the PM system release, but don't hold me to that.

Another way to print vaccines is when your in the summary sheet of a patients chart, go to File, Print, then select Immunizations only. This will give you a more detailed print out of the vaccines for that patient.
As of right now, the ICD-9 codes are not being associated with the Health Maintenance section. Eventually the ICD-9 codes that you enter will check off the appropriate Health Risk Factor.

Great, that is more straighforward. Thanks for the help.

I will try the file/print/immunizations only. I tried to use the "complete" section, but any HM that is complete will be printed. And the print is REALLY SMALL.

I also noticed that there is an "Analyze" button. So, will V5 generate a "Wellness Profile" or "Wellness Report?" whatever wellness is defined to be.

I believe the analyze button simply puts in the various things like positive tobacco, HCW, etc. and then inserts the various HM needed in that pt. chart

also the mantoux needs to be listed under immunizations because the schools look for this as part of these records.

Ok, on the immunization list, I tried checking the Immunizations Only box, and then printed . It worked. Thanks. Now if we could just have it print in at least 12 pt font size please. My old eyes (and some of our patients eyes) can't read the 3 pt font that it currently prints in.

Can we add in additonal Health Risk Factors? Especially in the Family History section.
