 I've emailed Dr. Jon on this a few times to see if he would bite. I personally believe that most of us AC users came to AC and Dr. Jon for a reason and that reason is the quality of the people and the product. Both ease of use and learning combined with a certain ethical, fair play, responsive corp. attitude that is sadly lacking in this market area. I really don't want someone else's second choice PM module, I want AC's, Dr. Jon's. I refer to AC as the QuickBooks of ERM's and the they "Get It". Furthermore it's my belief that if they made a similar quality PM module that worked seamlessly with AC, that most of us users would gooble it up. I know I certainly would. I hope this posting gets a strong positive response so they understand what I've been talking about. Paul [color:blue]

Practice management as I see has been very complicated. There are more changes in rules and regulations than in EMR part. I have a feeling they are state specific. Here in Michigan BC/BS has free EDI and I dont know other states. I would still go with AC PMR if one comes up.

Not having a PM component is the only thing that keeps alot of people away from AC. Even though I like AC so much more than any other EMR out there, this lack of integrated PM/billing is the one thing that may keep me from buying AC. I have heard mostly poor reviews on the AC billing service, which is what makes the PM compnent so important if I am going to do in-house billing. I am dreading having to choose an EMR for my solo practice I will be starting in August. Please help me make my decision by building a fully integrated system. I am ready to place my order!
Thank you for your consideration.

Will, Let 'em know what you've got to say. Email Dr. Jon at: JB@amazingcharts.com and tell him what you've said here. The more he here's good and constructive stuff, both good and bad, the more he listens. That's why I like AC. It's a great product otherwise, give it a try and peser him....Paul

I agree. I am so frustrated with having to use links to practice management. It seems that Dr. Jon is not far from having a PM module with the current update. Just needs a few additions for flexibility and posting. It would be great and I would certainly pay for it.

The only thing is, if we are going to have PM, then I hope we have a different database of CPT and ICD-9 codes then we have now.
