I'm stuck with version 3.7.15 for now because I have to get our hospital IT involved in setting up newer version, and they're too busy with other stuff. But the university has sent me a computer for medical students to use and I'd like to load Amazing Charts on there so they they can have a hand at writing notes on AC. Is there any place where I can download the installer for version 3.7.15 anymore?

You should call AC guardian support and they should probably be able to help you.

Go to http://amazingcharts.com/help/index.html and about half way down is a section that states useful downloads. Early on it states prior versions. V3.7 is there both plain and .msi version

Now if you were Bert you would have backup copies (2 of each at least) of every version of AC since 1.0 (or something) - not really picking on Bert, but you should try and keep a backup of whatever version you are sticking with for the time being. On the other hand you really should consider upgrading to 4.073 as it is very good.

If you go to AmazingCharts.com and click on (Download) at the top right, it will bring you to the download page where you have to enter your demographics.
I generally enter something like x@x.com and then click on the download bar at the bottom: Download Now! (I agree to the User License.)
Then click on the blue icon at the top middle, and it will download Version 3.7.

Actually, I do have a few saved. But, I had a lot back in the EULA war days. Those were a few fun months. But, without Paul, there is just no more controversy.

Thanks for all the help! I was able to download "installer3", and will keep a copy until such time as I can get upgraded. Do you suppose I can just wait for version 5? Probably need to be upgraded to 4 before going to 5.

I don't know. You will probably be able to download version 5 and install it without v4. I guess it depends if it is a complete full install or an upgrade.

If Bert doesn't, I do have a copy of 6.6.5. The problem is that it doesn't appear I have the database tuner.
If you just need to put it on a client computer, this should be fine. If you need to upgrade from a prior version on the server, you will need the tuner.
I tried to PM you, but apparently you have it turned off. I can create a link where you can download it if needed.

I can't find it so I would go with Wendell. Wendell's does the site keep all previous versions so they are easy to locate? With AC, seems like that would be a good idea.

Thank you both! how to switch on the pm? Wendell pls send me the installer. i am assuming the installer alone will be enough to upgrade to 665 and then straight i am going to update to 7.1 after the insurance migration - i may not need the tuner ?? what say?

You will likely need the tuner. You will know soon enough. It will ask for it. But, my guess is there are like 3,000 tuners out there in AC land.
I will change your PM.

Wendell's does the site keep all previous versions so they are easy to locate? With AC, seems like that would be a good idea. At one time, a while ago they did keep the last couple versions posted. I don't think they do anymore. You can always call tech support and they will send it to you. I have a small repository of some of the ones in the last 2 years, and of course V1.2.6

Yeah, I make a habit to keep them all as well. But, some get by me, especially the ones I don't install.
