I wish we could add an addendum directly from the Past Encounter section. I may look to see if I included something in a note-if I didn't, I would like to add the addendum from the Past Encounter section

I wish we could add addendums that could go directly on to the note/visit we want rather than make a separate entry. This could be used to correct errors on charts that weren't caught before saving the note. Also would be useful way to update a note with what happened after a visit (like what happened to the abd pain person you sent off to the ER).

I wish we could highlight abnormalities (like murmurs/amputations/scars) in a note and have them stay with the chart like past medical history

I also think things like heart murmur (need for antibiotics) could be on demographics alert - so that yellow note comes up when you look at their name - just a thought for pt. who need special consideration, etc.

Thanks Tom, that's a good idea for things that matter, but things like nevi sizes, dentures, etc that would be kinda odd to put in the PMHx.

I always use previous notes as starting points - you could do this and put a section at the end of physical exam - eg IMPORTANT ISSUES - SKIN LESIONS - IDENTIFYING MARKS -
etc - then leave that section at the end of your physical exam no matter what else you want.
