Hello,
This is my second flu season in private practice. I learned that I can order the flu vaccine directly from the manufacturer and get guaranteed delivery by August 31. I like that because this year I didn't get it till about September 25. The downside of the preorder is that it is substantially more (almost $30) per 10 dose vial.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it

I have had good luck (most years) c FFF enterprises. You can do all the ordering on line and their prices seem competitive. Until this year the vaccine has always arrived on the day you ordered it for. They start taking orders in January. Novartis is giving them some trouble this year so my vaccine is arriving 2 weeks late (after my first flu clinic is scheduled c 140 pts expecting their shots).

disclaimer: I have no financial conflict of interest to disclose. smile

We take the "don't put all your eggs in one basket" approach and order from more than one company each year. One year we did all ordering from one ocmpany only and they didn't come through for us, so we were hosed. We have used Sanofi Pasteur, E-surg and others,
