When you call up a previous note or most recent note, it has the Sign Note (or Sign chart) option box. Every time it makes me wonder, "did I sign the chart?" or rather, "i signed the chart, but maybe it did not register for some reason?"
It would be nice to have the sign box grey out after signing the chart except when looking at new/unsigned notes. or have some color indicator showing it's a signed note. OR display "signed by..." at the bottom.
With a paper chart, obviously that's never a confusion because you see your signature.

IIRC, on the bottome of the chart it Will say "signed 1 hour ago by..." if it has been signed. Also, if you look at the vitals you will see an entry for the current date if it has already been signed. And, when on the message screen if you click on a message or a pt name in the pt list it tells you when the last encounter was in the lower right. Those are a couple quick cues I use if I want to see if it has already been signed.

And under the drop down for Use a past encounter as template for this visit, will give you all notes including the last one signed as one as in past encounters.
