Congrats Leslie! Guess I better be careful about commenting on your posts from now on! ;-)

Thanks, David. I did not solicit this job but now that I have it, let me just say that anyone who disagrees with me will be shot.

Yeah, but isn't Anthem supposedly paying for your ammo? I suppose we have little to worry about. smile

Hey Leslie, maybe you should set up an e-mail address where we can send the names of any dissenters. Sounds like a good idea, right?

Sounds like an excellent idea, David. And, just as a heads-up, I will be in YOUR neck of the woods in about 3 weeks!! You don't work for Anthem, do you?

You guys are just the Mod Squad. The sad thing about that is Leslie will recall that show and Adam won't.

Peggy Lipton was my first crush. OK. So I was only six years old at the time, but wow!

And, these don't below to the TV show Mod Squad, but they do make some of the best yoyos ever. And, the prices are plummeting due to a going out of business sale. These aren't just Duncans.

I think Bert is dating himself -- I think Leslie is too young to remember these things. As I was watching DVD reruns of EMERGENCY and listening to Johnny Gage and Roy DeSoto I was starting to feel old.

Now Steve, I know I can't get a date, but I haven't resorted to dating myself yet. Although, I doubt I could find anyone better looking. smile

Oh Steven you are so sweet! I was in college when the Mod Squad was popular. I also remember Woodstock (my mother would not let me go). The grooviest thing is that all those clothes in the dark recesses of my closet are now back in style. Sadly though, my figure is not.

But, I am 38 and you are going to get Leslie very angry by padding your post count.

Dr.3000-Posts, are you seriously suggesting I'm padding my post count? Google the term, or go to Ask.com or About.com. cry

Well, I Googled "Oh snap" and wish I hadn't. If that is what the "young crowd" is sayin' then I am glad I am "old."

Congratulations Leslie,
I have been on the boards for a while. Couldn't pull myself away from my beta tapes of the Mod Squad.
Glad to have you as a moderator.

Hahaha, thanks Vicki. I was a beta tape sucker too! I probably still have some somewhere with "Dallas" and "St Elsewhere" episodes on them.

Hey, what the heck?!?!?

A guy checks out of the User Board for a mere 10 or 11 months, and look what happens!

Congratulations, Leslie! grin grin grin

Looks like you've nearly caught up with my post count, also -- you've been busy!

Bert, you old dog -- last time I posted, I was congratulating you on your 2,000th post, and now you're poised at 3,000! How high do you have to score to get an extra life on this game?

Brian!!!!

How the heck are you? It is great to hear from you. Hope things are going well for you in your new practice. If you become active on the boards again I will more than gladly relinquish my moderator status back to you.

How are Lucy and Ethel? Oh, and how are the wife and kids?

Glad to see you surface!

Hey Brian!!

What's up. Fill us in. You will always be an honorary mod.

I was just thinking about you the other day.

Shoot me an email at badams AT riverviewpediatrics.org_remove_for_spam

Now how strange is that my 3,000th post would be to Brian!

Hi, Leslie and Bert --

My family and my donkeys are all doing well, thanks for asking! grin

I am doing great, but my life has completely changed over the past year.

I joined a group practice and tried to get them to use AC, but they had already contracted with NextGen, which I found to be unusable as well as obscenely overpriced. For this and other reasons, I elected not to buy in.

I am working as a hospitalist now, which I would never have considered in the past, but fits much better with my family goals. I don't even use an EMR now -- weird!

The reason I checked in was because I had been fretting over the proposed changes to health care, and I thought I'd look in and see how all my old friends were making out. When I saw you had "stolen" my job, Leslie, I knew I had to drop a line! wink

I am *totally* kidding around, Leslie! I know you will do a great job as a moderator, and I kind of felt bad that I got the job and then had to drop out.

It is good to talk to you all again. I will shoot you an email, Bert.
