Hi Folks When I upgraded from V 3.7 to our current version V 4.060 I had AC support helping me because I had Win XP Pro with service pack 3. They got into my PC (Go to PC anywhere) and downgrade SP3 to SP2 to do the AC upgrade. Currently, we have gone back to SP3, I guess by automatic updates or maybe our IT guy put it back. Now, I would like to upgrade from V4.060 to V4.073. Do I have to do the same thing again (going back to SP2)?

It's hard to know without trying. Microsoft has continued to provide patches and fixes so that SP3 is compatible with all software. The answer is it isn't.
SP3 is an advantage if you are doing a fresh install since there are over 100 updates after SP2. But, other than that the additions to XP is minimal. I would recommend not using SP3. If you make that decision, I would recommend also that you let your IT person know that.
You could, however, install on one machine and see if you have any problems.
Are you using an Intel or AMD chip?

Thanks for your answer Bert We have Intel machines. OUr main PC is Core 2 Quad. I will try to do the upgrade with SP 3, if still does not let me do it I will go back to SP2 and try to keep it that way. Thanks again

That's good, because SP3 doesn't play well with AMD, although I believe they have that fixed now.
