Hi everyone,
I appreciate everyone's advice while getting started with AC! I am a new user, as an OBGYN trying to make AC work for me (so far it has!)
I have a couple of comments and questions:
1. Anyone hear if there will be a bidirectional interface for orders coming?
2. When things come in from interfaced lab companies, do you have to refresh (Control-insert) for labs to come into messages or can the system do it automatically? Not sure if my interface is working appropriately.
3. PM not being there is really making billing a chore. I am not busy now so trying to learn billing myself (doing paper CMS1500 billing). Any clearing house that is inexpensive that works with AC?
Thanks for any input! I am learning as I experiment more!
Jack

Try Office Ally/Practicemate.

Do a search as there are recent threads.

Some of us are using this as a stop gap until the ac pmr comes out.

As for question #2, my lab interface is not automatic. Once or twice each day we manually import labs. Not aware of a way to automatically do it (except by ordering a staff member to do it "automatically" for you !)

Hi Jack, we use Medware (eMedware) by Sage Software. The PM portion of AC is the weakest link.

I use eMedware also. I am still waiting for a bidirectional interface w/ them, but dont see one on the list.

I got a call today from Phresia to tell us that they will have a new interface with ac in early sept. they said that it was due out with the new version of ac. Maybe, just maybe this is the package we have all been praying would arrive,
