To the AC User Board Administrators: Thank you 1,000 fold for creating a new discussion forum for vendors. It was getting so annoying having vendors on our user board "advertising" under the guise of posting Q&A type threads.
Maybe other weren't annoyed, but I was. So thanks for fixxing that situation.

I agree. Thanks. I was not aware that that occurred.

I couldn't have said it better that Adam. It's nice to not have the vendors lurking in our threads.

Totally correct Vicki. It's bad enough we still have drug reps coming into our office. But to have sales reps lurking on our precious collegial space is WAY TOO annoying.
I don't even talk to drug reps anymore. The rule is: leave your samples and I'll sign your form but don't talk to me. If they bring their manager in, they get bounced immediately at the door. They can do lunches if they want to talk, but I don't eat their food anymore. I bring stuff from home, way more healthy. They supply the food as a side-benefit to my staff who appreciate the food. I have to "pay for it" by listening to the reps flap their jaws. I pretend to listen for 5 mintues and leave.
