When searching for patients taking a particular Medication, it would be helpful if one can search for patients taking this medication actively, previously(Inactive), or both

You can search for medications under the search function - the only problem is that it does not delineate active vs inactive. I use this when news shows up for side effects or new labels - like "drug x causes suicidality".

thanks.
i have been using this function but would really like to be able to search for active medications only. right now, when i search for say methotrexate, i get a long list of patients and would have to go through the names one by one to determine if the drug is active vs. inactive.
