I am new to AC. I am trying to work out the logistics of utilizing AC in my office and need some help. Can anyone tell me how they record when TB tests are given and how you go about documenting reading the results in AC? Under vaccines? Make an addendum? Also where do you record the vision and hearing screens? Thanks for the input.

If you put them in as an addendum with the proper subject it would be easier to look back at your previous visits and find them. I also put down TB under vaccines so I can see when done easily, but does not record result.
Certainly could make addendum for vision results, hearing screening results, etc.

How do I make an addendum to a visit?

On the file tabs at the top of the AC when you first pull it up there is the tab patient, click it and the drop down box has a variety of things you can do... letter, email, addendum
In order for it to work you must have the patient name in the box for example you looked for mr michael wilson/s chart you would type in his name and find him. Highlight his name then click the patient tab and type in whatever you need. This method also works great if you forgot a charge.... ie a nebulizer treatment, a vaccination etc because before you close the addendum it will ask you if you want to create a supberbill ...
I have found it tremendously useful/

thanks for the info. i see how to do that now. I wish there was a way to just enter that data with the corresponding administration date so that that info doesn't have to be re-entered in the addendum (for tracking/researching).

We actually record it in the vaccines and possibly tracked data. In tracked data it shows the data applied and the result.

can you tell me the steps that you go through? I see the tracked data in the summary tab. is that where you are entering the data? I did enter the data there as you suggested, but just wanted to make sure that i did it correctly. Thanks.
