Is there any way to split corporations? i am moving into an office that is going to use Ac. We are sharing space and staff, but my friend is a nephro and I am FP. We have 2 separate corporations , tax id etc. Is there a way we can both use AC? Can we fix the info in a way so that when I create a HCFA or sign a note, my info and corp come up and vice versa?

I would think you would not even want to try this - even if you found or devised a workaround it would still be a pain if you ever parted ways and wanted to move one or the other. Try instead to figure out a way to have 2 different servers and set up AC separately. You might need to talk with guardian angel about how to set this up.

You should do this on two separate computer networks.

along a similar thread, has any group that is not incorporated ever registered? I own my practice and bill under my name. Two other physicians are employed by and work with me as well as 2 NP's. My problem is that when I write a letter, the header of the letter has my name in it since this is what I had to register the owner as. Problem is my "employee/partner" who happens to be an endocrinologist, would naturally want his name in the header aside from his signature. I could not figure out a way to add his name. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I and my associate, who is also a Pediatrician and using AC, have our own corporations and are financially independent, however we share rent and overhead in a office suite. Because we use two different billing numbers and do no share patients, we have set up 2 separate networks, each independent of the other w/o any crosstalk between them. His data is his , and mine is mine. Our Practice info that appears at the top of our pages is different as are our phone numbers. You do NOT want to share this program between non-financially or legally bound individuals, as you are looking for trouble.
