I am not sure if this has been addressed or not, but it is observed in V4 that Duplicate entries are entered in PLAN area of the Chart when you use the ORDERS tab from the main Chart Window. For example if your Order "CBC"......you will get CBC CBC
typed in the Plan. You have to manually delete one entry for correction.

I have not seen that problem on my setup

I have also been getting duplicate entries from the orders box sent into the Plan Section. It does not happen consistently and I thought perhaps the button was sensitive and that I may be double clicking instead of single clicking. I did show this to one of the Gaurdian Angels last week and they were not sure. Don't know if this is a bug?

I have also noted that when a medication is reactivated (by opening the Prescription Writer window, using the Rx button to the right of the Plan section), it often appears twice in the Plan section.

I have been getting duplicate entries of prescriptions as well. I am trying to figure out when it happens.
Part of the problem for me is it is annoying to:
1. Be warned that the medication is inactive. Who cares, I wouldn't have selected it, if I didn't want to prescribe it. 2. Then it only moves it to the active list and still doesn't prescribe it. 3. I then have to back and prescribe it.
It's worse than Microsoft.
So, I have to click once to get to the inactive list, click again to select the medication, click yes I do want to prescribe it even though it is in the inactive list, click again to get back to the active list, click again to load the medication into the prescription writer and then click yet again to actually put the med on the right hand side. That is six clicks.
It should actually take, one click to get to inactive list, one click to load the medication and one click to move it to the right hand side. That's three clicks. I think one of every programmer's goal is to reduce clicks. Usually even one click is helpful, but saving three clicks would be at least an hour per month.

This is a known bug. I reported when version 4.062 first came out and they emailed me back that it was reproducable and that it would be corrected in next version. For right now it is a nuisance, but hopefully will be corrected soon.

Yeah that bug doesn't bother me at all. It's the non-bug one post above that drives me crazy.

I had duplicate entries from the order box to the plan box all day today. Haven't had that problem for a couple of weeks ( time flies when you're having fun). I thought previously that this might have been a user generated problem of double clicking, but that is definitely not the problem today, I was very careful. Bert mentioned that there were duplicate entries from the medication module but I haven't seen this. Surely the duplicate entry problem would be showing up in multiple users.... ??anyone else seeing this? I am using version 4.0.60.

I continue to get them in medications. I keep trying to reproduce them during down time. It's hard to figure out what I did in the room as I am pressed for time.

If you are answering an in office e-mail and go to deactivated meds, and reactivate it to prescribe it always put 2 copies in the e-mail. A bit of a pain, but been there for so long I just auto fix it. Is this what you guys are referring to?

I don't think so. Kind of lost me there, lol. But, it is during the office visit when I am prescribing medications. It's weird, because I have used the script writer for what, six years? Just some spooky things going on.

I only see it if I go to inactive meds (even during office visit) and try to look at amoxicillin and then reactivate it or type the same scrip new...
