Just upgraded to version .62b from .60.
It went good on the Main computer, but when upgrading the clients (3 computers, one vista and two XP) I received the following message on all 3 computers: "Client component for SQL Server Express installation failed. SQL Server Express installation failed."
However, everything seems to be working fine on all computers.
Should I worry about it or not? What did cause the problem?

I am just guessing here, but maybe it was trying to update SQL Server Express, which the client computers should not have or need. This update can't complete because the program to be updated does not exist. This is, again, just my guess.

I just run the update, and when asked, I choose CLIENT (NOT MAIN computer).
This message came after finishing intalling(or updating) the first part of the installation, which is the part related to SQL.
And this only happened in the CLIENTS, not in the MAIN.
After the ERROR message, it continued with the second part (AC sofware) and finished correctly.
I repeat, everything seems to be working fine, but I am a little concerned and I would like to know what happened.
I actually did the installation several times, even with Antivirus disabled, and it will always give me the exact same error.
Thanks

I am unsure what is causing this in that case and hope some of the more technically minded people will be able to help. I have been working with AC since December and have not updated anything as of yet, for timing reasons mainly.

Thanks Paul.
Anyway, it seems to be working properly at this time.

I have just upgraded from 4.060 to 4.062 today, and had the same situation. I am running Microsoft 2003 server, and XP clients. As Dr. Vazquez stated, everything seems to be working after the install (except for a bug with orders not being saved that occurred with 4.060).
