I do not use time stamps and have turned them off using preference. The latest version of AC defaults to a time stamp on the reminder no matter what my preference is.
Anyone know how to turn the time stamp off?

I have had problems intermittently with spell checking and time stamping being turned off automatically, which has been an anoyance in both v3 and v4, but I haven't seen that lately.

Oh, sorry, to answer your question hit Command U and it will bring up the preferences box. From there you can uncheck (or check) the time stamp catagory.

Hi Wendell, The problem is, the preference section does not turn off the time stamp. It does in the notes, but not on the reminder. The reminders have a box that has to be manually unchecked every time I send a reminder. If you find another solution, please let me know. Thanks Vicki
Hmmm. The box on the reminder, once unchecked, is supposed to remain unchecked the next time you open it (on the same computer). You may have found a bug. I will look into it.

Speaking of bugs. Unless I am missing something, after I turn off the warning messages when signing off a note without choosing an ICD-9 code and restart the machine, I am able to sign the note without any error windows. The first one is at the Sign Chart, and the second is at the Sign It.
But, on the next patient, I get the warning message at the second part (the Sign It). This is my favorite part of V4.
Does this happen to anyone else.
Personally, I wish we had the option to turn off every single warning message.

It has been the same two computers, one at work one at home. Thanks

Alert! Have you tried it with Firefox. Just to humor me. I mean it will take like 30 seconds to download it, five seconds to type in the address, another five seconds to insert your user name and password, and one second to check the box indicating you want it to remember your log in. Total = 41 seconds.

OK, so I have to repost this. Should I put it in a new thread? This really is driving me nuts. It is driving my medical student more nuts, because I say, "#*&2*^ I hate that" every time it gives me the warning message.

Well, I will see what mine does when I try that. Do you have to fully restart the machine in order for the glitch to happen? I do not tell the docs here about the ability to turn off the warning messages because we like them to input the ICD-9 codes themselves and I don't want them skipping that step. I will let you know if I can repeat the bug.
