I would just like to make a suggestion that I would hope everyone will follow. I know that others have said this as well. There are a lot of new posters WHICH IS GREAT!

But, a good many posters (even some older ones) do not put their first names in their signatures. It is really impersonal and, frankly difficult, to write back to "Super doctor in Omaha," (of course this is a fictional name).

There was once a user on the boards that had a legitimate concern about using his or her first name. They were concerned that a patient may come on and see their posts, which could be a factor.

While I understand that completely, I think it would be highly unlikely.

Anyway, please think about it. I would also love to get some feedback on this thread.

All a person (patient or otherwise) has to do is google your name and they can find your posts, even if they are looking for your website or something else. I know. I've found myself!

I had someone on a Yahoo list to which I belonged Google me, find me here, join the boards all in the desire to get in touch with me. So, if they want to find you, they will.
I echo Bert's request for first names. Even initials like JW would be preferable to "Headdoctor" or "Maine Man".

Leslie,

How quickly you forget. I went by "The Main Man." I still am, I just went back to Bert, lol.
