Gee,

Let me just add, most of us like AC the way it is. We bought it because of its simplicity, "out-of-the-box" utility and because of the "small-town" feel of the program and it's owner/developer. Certainly, as Paul said, there are some issues that need fixing and improving upon. But, for the most part, it is a very useful program just as is. I think if you want to make your own program and market it, please feel free to do so. But leave AC and Jon alone. It is HIS program and it is HIS decision what to do with it. Not yours, not mine, not Al's or Bert's. And as far as your signature mantra, we physicians are quite capable of learning, unlearning and relearning. But I believe we are much more capable than you of recognizing what is just a bunch of CHITT and what will actually contribute to a favorable outcome. I personally believe you are taking your data base dreams way too far here. Please go invoke them on others. As a former SoapWare user, AC has them beat by a mile.

Leslie, my signature does not apply to physicians, it actually applies to software developers, who have to learn a whole new skill every three years.

That being said as we look at the board, some of the things you wish fixed are not simple cosmetic fixes, but rather architectural, that is why the move is being made to SQL Server Express.

Hello All, I know it has been a while once again, but just a couple items of mention here. I did a write up on EZClaim and posted it on the blog, and at the bottom a mention of Amazing Charts as an integrated service. Just thought I would pass that along.

Medical Quack - EZClaim and AC http://ducknetweb.blogspot.com/2009/03/ez-claim-billing-software-and-scheduler.html

Also, new clinical Tablet from Tablet Kiosk information is on the site as well.

Sorry I have been a stranger here, but like everyone one else busy trying to stay alive:)

On another note, I have posted quite a bit about new clinical procedures, like all the new brain implants, etc. approved by the FDA, so there's some additional information there for those who may want to know. I also did an interview with Steve Shiheda, VP of Microsoft Health Services a few weeks ago too and that is over under the Microsoft section.

Just posted another interview today about regenerative medicine from Cook Medical from a couple weeks ago too, and of course there's always the "humor" section which I try to keep updated too:) In the up and coming weeks, I'll have some additional interviews too with Microsoft Life Sciences, and being a geek when the interviews get clinical, I have to study for those:)

Thanks again and just wanted to hopefully just give a few updates here. Hope the reference to AC was ok for all as well.
Thanks again!

Just thought I would add a short note here, EZ Claim has put some "how to" documents up on the site about working with AC, so here's the link if it is helpful to anyone. I have been doing some guest blogging there and happened to see the page.
