Just tried to do an EKG and Spirometry w/ V4. Surprisingly, I received a message that the Midmark components were not installed on my computer. Worked on Monday with V3.X though.
I have to eat lunch so that I can get the energy to attempt to get tech support help.

We are having the same issue immediately after V4 installation.
Also, on our Main comp. where we installed SQL Server database, everytime I login as administrator I get "COM Surrogate" window popup 10 times.
Let us know if anyone have a fix.
Thanks.

I figured out that "COM Surrogate" error window is due to my backup up software. It runs 10 times during the day. I login at the end of the day I see these 10 error windows. Unforturnately this started happening at the same time of V4 upgrade. So, this is error NOT due to V4 upgrade.
Regarding Midmark problem, I still think it is due to V4 upgrade. I have to reinstall it today and see how it works.
Thanks.

you have to reinstall the midmark files from ac. Just go into admin options and go to the interface. Select the Midmark interface and click on where it says click to download the files. You have to do it on EACH computer that you want to view the ekg or spirometry results. But if you do it for EKG, you dont need to do it again on the same pc for spirometry.

I am not using AC's interface. I am using Midmark's standalone application. Last week Midmark's tech support helped me resolving this issue. Since AC has Midmark interface, it is using some of Midmark's DLLs. When I installed AC4 it overrided some of Midmark's DLLs and created conflict in Midmark's configuration. This issue was resolved by simply re-registering Midmark's DLLs.
This will be an issue everytime I upgrade my AC. To avoid it, either I have to install two softwares on different machines or follow the procedure as I have mentioned on the top or just use AC's interface. Since I did not want to use two machines and use standalone Midmark's app, I choose the fix I described in my first paragraph.
Thanks.

ok. I do remember when we first got the midmark they said not to install the s/w on the PC with AC. But I thought that only applied if you bought the AC interface.
