Nancy just set us up for this on-line scheduling thing that allows the patients to set up their own appointments all without calling or bothering us, which hopefully will have a nice and serious impact on the amount of phone calls coming and going around here...

So I just sent a suggestion to the AC development team suggesting this. There are a number of other IMP's who all us AC and appointment quest and I think that finding a way to interface the two systems so both schedules are alway in sync or that we could simply schedule from AC would be great. I still want all the days appointments in AC for other clerical and financial reasons.... Also, it would be nice to have the basic names, phone and address stuff always synced up on a regular basis much like some other programs can... Now when we would activate a connection with AQ, it and AC could always have all of the same patients in them at any given time...

I think it would be pretty neat myself.... and it would save a lot on double entery tasks at the end of the day too...

I thought there was an interface of sorts. You can import some sort of a csv file. Does that eliminate double entry? File > import > schedule.
