Hi
I couldn't find if this was dealt with in old posts, so I hope someone has some ideas.
Over the last month or so, every letter I write gets saved in the imported section as a letter to the patient and not to who the letter was intended.
The printed letter is fine (eg to consultant), but the saved one says let to PATIENT XXXX.
Any ideas?

This problem has been present for some time. You have to edit the saved letter and write in the name of the MD. Also, if you add/change the signature such as adding another physician to cc, it stays the same the next time you write a letter. This is also nuisance. Hopefully, these will be fixed in the next version. The other thing I hope gets fixed is to include the patient's name on each page when printing a daily batch of notes.

Karl,
Please tell me exactly what you are doing. I am unable to reproduce that nor have I ever had that problem in six years. Maybe we are talking about two different things.

Bert, I have had this problem too. "Cardilogychris" mentions this issue continuing in the 4.x versions. To illustrate: Right click on pt "John Doe", go to - print notes/consultant letters, then letter writer and write a letter to referring provider or consultant. The letter is done as it should, to the provider/consultant. The letter is then saved in the imported items section but under the heading "letter to patient/John Doe". Hope this helps. Thank you in advance for looking into it.

I will look into it. As programmers (I am not one) always say, in order to fix the problem, it has to be reproducible. I can't seem to reproduce it, but I will try. I think I would simply call support and ask them if it has been reported before. However, if you are considering moving to V4 soon, maybe it's not worth it. Thanks.
