Am I missing a way to create a collection of favorite medications?

Hmm... I suppose I can live without it. My current EMR has a windo that pops up and lets me save all of my favorite meds in folders. It is soooo nice.

I was asked for this feature, but later, it was overlooked since the meds consitently come up as usually ordered after just a few keystrokes.

But, I imagine right clicking on the script write to pull up a list of your 30 favorite meds would be helpful.

It will prepopulate with meds you commonly use. For example, all i have to type is Mo and mometasone will pop up. I suppose if I had a number of mo meds I would have to keep typing. It will also fill in the same directions as last time. Works well if there are no changes (good for mometasone not good for amox) But it is better than nothing.
kind of depends on how many meds you use.

Yes, Wendell is correct. It basically keeps a running list of your medication, sig, amount and refills in the registry. It is nice if there is a medication you don't want there, you can manually delete it from the registry.

It would be better if there were a way to "fix" the medications through the software.
