We are starting the 3 month trial, I want to know which billing software is the one most used(no glitches) with Amazing Charts?

I keep reading people have problems or have yearly upgrades(Read yearly buying)with EZclaim, Office Alley & Medisoft.

Interface is subject to problems compared to integrated billing.
Does anyone know, when is the Billing Program integrated with AZ is coming out? That will address many of the present problems.

Thanks for any input.

I asked that question to the support team since I am also in the implementation phase. The response was "this winter". I am going to limp along with what I've got and hope the AC PM program is a good one.

I would be surprised if the integrated billing will be out that soon.

Initially Version 4 was to have included a practice management module. As it has evolved, Version 4 is primarily tweeks with conversion to an SQL database.

The underpinnings of a integrated practice management system we saw at the ACUC conference in Branson in June looked good but needed work. Initially this was to have been in V4.

I believe this will have to wait until Version 5 since V4 seemed to be close to finalization from beta.

AC can directly transfer to Office Alley or it can be done through EZClaims, which is fairly inexpensive (about $500 with a module needed to connect to OA last time I looked). This works well for some but I had a problem with OA connecting to IL Medicaid that could not be solved.

There is MTBC which is integrated with AC and the interface works well and smoothly. MTBCs report structure appears impressive but the jury is still out on how effective they actually are. I have been using them for the last 5 months. They have a 1 year contract.

Iniitally, get comfortable with AC then migrate into a billing system. You should look at OA directly since there is no fee involved and if it works well would be less cost.

Dear RAJ,
You are wrong about Office Ally. It is free. You don't need to upgrade it. We use Quick Books Pro in combination with Office Ally. We are collecting even the money that a biller missed. If you are waiting for the next version of AC just stop and wait for it to prove its worth. You won't be sorry with Office Ally. I am just telling you our experience. My biller is our office manager that had no experience in billing. She has collected 1000 dollars that the experience biller missed with more pending money on the way.

Wendell is MTBC a billing service or a software you are using to do your own billing?

MTBC is a third party billing "service". I signed up because I thought it was AC's own billing service. They are simply a "partner". I don't anticipate renewing at the end of my contract year.

Sorry Martin, I had not checked in a few days. No MTBC is a service.

If Office Ally works for you, it is the best solution. Didn't work for me though.

RAJ, we use the combination of excel spread sheets and quickbooks pro to keep tract of money and send out invoices. We use office ally to bill insurance companies.
