kind of goes with the viewing chart while writing note, but i'll start another thread to emphasize need for mdi.. this way we can find a patient's phone number while looking at labs.. how is everyone else doing this?

Running the version 4 beta helped with that issue for us. We stopped importing our Quest labs and started saving them as PDFs for this reason. I hated opening an imported lab and not being able to go back and read my last note and start a message without leaving the lab screen. With the old database, reopening the lab screen took over 10 seconds. In version 4 when you open an imported lab, a new window pops up with the lab results in it along with a separate box to generate a message, plus you still have the chart in the background to reference. Plus with the new database, it happens instantly. Only thing missing for me is that the window to generate a message while viewing the lab does not have a tab to write a prescription or an order which would be handy (i.e someone has an elevated cholesterol and I want to start a med and send the message about it to my MA, etc)

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a way for Labcorp labs to show up on AC? We have integrated AC & Labcorp but its not wonderful. For some reason, the policy number does not show up on the labcorp requisition and I have to go out of AC to see results. Thanks Nanci
