Is anyone using office ally as a clearinghouse with an interface to amazing charts? IF so what are your experiences?

The person most knowledgable on office ally is Barbara Duck of emrupdate fame. Check here for the numerous threads on Office Ally: http://www.emrupdate.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=office+allyI too am planning on looking into adding this to my billing system...

We are using Office Ally as our practice manager/ billing program. My office manager said it is very intuitive. We don't use Practice Mate because we are using AC as the EMR. We are very satisfied so far.

I tried office ally but they were having a problem with data to IL medicaid and each said it was the other's problem. In the end no info past and I had to find another solution. I went with AC's MTBC billing system, which seems to be doing OK but too early to tell.

Good evening!....New to the forum. I am very near to downloading AC but was hoping someone could tell me if AC has ever been able to uplink or use medware as a primary billing source? Anyone know what the user fees for ALLY are ? Thanks!

The great thing about office ally is there is no charge for electronic claims, only those that drop to paper.
Can't answer about medware.

Dr. Miles,
our company looked into Medware for the PM program to work with AC. However as of September 2008, they were not hl7 compliant and would requre an interface to be built. They did not have a current one working with AC, but had the name of a guy who used to work for them who could build it for a small fee. I know they are coming out with a new version of the program in first quarter 2009 that will be HL7 compliant and should interface with AC without problems.
