OP apricot Member Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 148 TX	Version 3.7 interferes with Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) drivers for scanning. I have Fijutsu 5110C scanner. It comes with two interfaces (drivers): FIJITSU fi-5110cdj9.16 and WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0. We use WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0 interface for scanning because it is much more convenient. After 3.6 to 3.7.14 upgrade my WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0 scanning interface quit working. I go to <Import Items>, <Import New>, <Import/Control your scanner>, click on <Scan Image> and absolutely nothing happens. Same with ScandAll21. It didn't scan when WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0 was set as a primary source. The other scanning interface (FIJITSU fi-5110cdj9) still worked. I tried everything to bring WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0 interface back. I erased and reinstalled all the Fijutsu drivers w/o any result. Finally I installed old AC version 3.6 on top of 3.7.14 This took care of the problem. Now my scanner works fine and WIA-fi-5110cdj1.0 interface is active again. Conclusion: AC 3.7.14 interferes with WIA scanner drivers. Can it be fixed?
