I use the device - they are more than happy to customize the questions as you ask them to - I have put in a basic questionnaire about insurance and contact info, followed by cc, medical/surgical/social history. The computer was set to print a hardcopy which I reviewed and then was scanned. Now it auto saves to the receptionist's desktop in a file and they import it into the chart - I can review then at pt. check in or later. They can also do it so it only does demographics and chief complaint. It is a little slow at first, but we checked in about 80 of our pt. last week and the information is useful.
