Very likely that they would look. I had a location with just that. A server with HP raid. Worked great. Also had a small NAS device 2TBthat they ran backups to. Sounds good so far. System was hacked without the knowledge of the staff. The hackers took there time and sniffed around the network at night and weekends. They encrypted the server and blew away the nas. whoever setup the NAS forgot to turn off the console ports "backdoors" to the NAS. So the NAS will work great as long as you turn off all access to the NAS except for what you are going to use for backup. But keeping off site images of you server is all that is going to save you and your data.
