AMEN TOM, We have one hospital that is so slow about getting us the record and the hospitalist group never calls about the pt being in the hospital and any updates. The other hospital has a better group about calling us and getting at least a verbal report before the pt shows up in the office. The discharge paper the pt is given is just a feel good instruction page with a general diagnosis and an 'oh yeah we have a survey please give us 5 stars' comment.
