When moving AC to a new server, my recommendation is to schedule a call with AC support and any other vendors that should be involved:
* Your IT
* Any vendor that you have a data transfer with (LabCorp, etc).
If you attempt to do the move yourself, you could be successful, but should something go wrong you'll be on hold in the waiting queue of AC support which will burn time. A scheduled event, on the other hand, has any time needed set aside and puts AC on the hook for making certain your transition goes smoothly.
I'm probably the most knowledgeable person about how AC works on the forum today - especially with the database side of things - and even I still call and schedule time with AC. It's just safer that way.
