We are in the process of moving to new server. Ours is peer-to-peer network, this has worked good for us since version 1 and would continue to have setup the same way.
Question:
To move to new server, I was under the impression that there are 2 ways.
1: do the complete backup and using the restore feature, restore on new computer, though this may take a lot more time.
2: Do the backup excluding imported items, as it is faster, restore using this truncated backup file and just copy the imported item folder onto new server. Then all should work.
Can users shed light on this please? will either one work. Thanks in advance.
