In our office we use a mix of Mac and PC work stations. We also use iPads and iPhones with AC in the cloud via the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection App but primarily for quick tasks, not day-to-day charting. Dictation from the iPad or iPhone to AC is hit-or-miss, usually miss.
Printer functionality other than printing to Updox Printer already embedded in the cloud is non-existent. So, if you want to print a hard copy of a prescription, then you have to print to Updox first and then from Updox to your local printer.
In a pinch, i can send in a prescription (even controlled), print from imported items to Updox and fax, or review from my iPhone.
