Here's another keyboard navigation exercise.

Place your cursor at the beginning of a block of text that you want to cut and paste. Press [Ctrl+Shift+Right Arrow]. Keep hitting right arrow until your block of text is selected. Press [Ctrl+X].

With this method, you don't have to guess about where to click with the mouse or where to stop dragging, when you want to move some text. Just keep arrowing until the sentence is selected.

When you get used to keyboard navigation, you will find it is quicker for many tasks, as opposed to switching between mouse and keyboard.

Some of these capabilities existed previously, but Jon has added new functions that make the old functions work better.

It is possible now, for instance, to select patients via keyboard, without touching the mouse. I understand that there is more of this kind of thing coming.

These improvements make it much easier to sit with a wireless keyboard in your lap, and type while you listen to your patient.

Your monitor can sit out-of-sight, and a fair distance away, using the Enlarged view.
