It's rather obvious you know what you are doing based on the script. But do you think that it's possible SQL 2012 would work better than SQL 2005. I don't understand why you would upgrade to this very nice server set up and still run v5.x and SQL 2005? Is 2005 at end of life yet?
I only ask about the double charting as you may want to check with your liability insurance and attorneys to see if they are both discoverable.
If there is a SQL permissions issue, it also would make sense to fix that rather than add another layer of complexity. Glad it's fixed.
