So, it sounds like, even if one moves to V8, you have to manually reenter all the patient's diagnoses. Yuk!
Bert, my PM program came with a matching tool to take ICD9 codes and suggest possible ICD10 matches. It made the work of prepping for ICD10 pretty simple. Many codes have reasonable 1:1 matches.
