InLight is a Problem-Oriented Medical Record (POMR), giving physicians an alternative to the traditional SOAP note. POMR allows physicians to assess and address an entire problem from within the problem area of the record, reducing the cognitive burden of the physician. A provider can see the summary and history of a problem, medications list (and add to), lab orders, diagnostic orders and referrals, all from within the problem. POMR removes the need between screens to document medications, referrals etc., and also results in few clicks on the providers interaction with the record.
