I still think you should troubleshoot backwards and connect directly to the server and see what speed you get. I never have that problem, that chart opens up immediately. I am glad you are referring to double click now.
If your laptop runs tip top when connected by Ethernet to the server, then you could like Raj, decide to live with it, or find some way to use wired. What distance does your laptop have to travel to the wireless router?
