Really makes you wonder what would happen if someone in the government decided that "Docs don't need a fix" this year. That is the disaster that remains imminent. A 27.5% cut? That might be the point at which enough Doctors say no, or even HELL NO, and start dropping Medicare en masse.

Alternatives exist. We are on-boarding a multi-location practice that serves a more rural, 'working poor' part of the US, and focuses on preventative care. They don't take insurers - direct payment only.

We look forward to analyzing their data with them to see how they are doing measured by treatment goals - A1C, smoking cessation, cholestrerol/lipids, etc.
