I have never had this problem, but I closely follow the descriptions of it, because if it hit me, it would seriously impact my ability to use AC. I think you have a significant chance of improving the problem by moving beyond 6.0.10; I think it makes sense to go to 6.3.3.
When you say "a lot of imports"...roughly how many do you mean?
I believe you do need the tuner; does anyone know for sure?
