As long as we all know that we are commiserating and aren't really expecting any of these ideas to actually happen. It is fun to dream though. Hard to get these really helpful suggestions into the product to improve patient care when we have:

CCHIT, MU, v7, etc. (not that these are AC's fault. Our issue isn't so much converting to pounds and oz, it's separating U.S. from the rest of the world. It is really difficult to work up FTT when the list of weights is lb, lb, kg, lb, kg. So, we use the table below included on the Bright Futures Form to convert to pounds and ounces, then write it on that form.

It would be nice if you could use 10.5 (that is what our scale shows), and it would auto-convert to 10 lbs, 8 oz. with 4.8 kg in another column.
