I have just upgraded from 6.1.2 to 6.3.2. The version change log at http://amazingcharts.com/support/i-want-to-help-myself/version-change-log/ indicated "Added codified supplies to medications database."

I find that the medication database now includes choices for various glucose meters, including five differently-colored One-Touch Ultra Mini meters (black, blue, green, pink, purple), but no glucose test strips can be found for any of the various One-Touch, Accuchek or Glucometer meters. Has anyone been able to find the "codified" test strips, since that is what we are most often ordering/refilling, not new meters?

Also, check out the selections for Pampers--over 100 entries--likewise, for Huggies and Attends!!!! Do we really need those in the drug database?

Whether it's Surescripts or AC, it seems that someone needs to take the responsibility for getting the basic diabetic (and other) supplies entered into the database in a codified manner so that we can more easily prescribe them. When I free-text Accuchek Aviva glucose test strips, I get a warning message regarding scheduled drugs and a message indicating that I can codify non-scheduled items from the Write Scripts page by right-clicking on the drug name, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?
