I'm not certain where put this question, let me know if it belongs elsewhere or if an answer already exists.
Current Situation:
1. Clinic Providers order labs, which generates a paper order/msg.
2. The Laboratory Organization's IOP (In Office Phlebotomist) has to enter the paper order into the 4medica requisitioning system.
3. When patient presents to lab, IOP prints out 4medica requisition and collects specimens.
Is there a way to eliminate the printed paper order?
Can the Provider's order in Amazing Charts Cross over into 4medica electronically?
So it could look like this:
1. Provider Orders in Amazing Charts.
2. Orders electronically cross over to 4medica
3. When patient presents to Lab area, IOP brings up Requisition.
4. IOP prints Requisition and collects specimens.
I heard that there was a way for Amazing Charts to communicate with 4medica directly.
