Roger, when I first started posting about 2 1/2 years ago, I noticed the situation then was much the same. The numbers of posts were smaller but ten people accounted for about half of the posts. Many of the people who were on the list then are no longer active here now.
At that time, much like now, Bert had more posts than the next 5 or so put together.
