The website is incredibly useful. I have an online appointment system posted on it, so patients frequently make their own appointments instead of tying up the phone line. I have online bill paying on it for patients to pay balances(they don't use this quite as much. I wonder why?).
We have information about the practice and the doctor, and a link to our online office on it. So when anyone asks, we just direct them to the website. Quite a few patients in NY actually use Google to look for a doctor and we show up since I initially devoted some time on SEO.
Now there are alot of people who are supposedly educated professionals and computer literate that can't seem to read or understand things that I've tried to set up as "idiot proof" but it is still very useful.
