Updox is a great program, to be sure, but it is not a MUST if you want to go paperless. I have been paperless for over 3 years and do not use Updox although I have recently downloaded the free trial. As I am very cheap, and as my staff has become accustomed to our current work-flow, I will remain a Paperport user. It is free with some Brother MFC machines, it does not charge for faxes, there is no additional charge for more than 3 users and it is easily shared across my network. JMO.
