I think he's talking about TS Remote Web Applications not the Application Server Role in Windows Server. It's kind like a mini remote desktop for one program except it's virtualized. Someone here uses TS Remote Web Apps with Amazing Charts. This means it'll work on most operating systems as the actual program is not being installed.
