I wish to offer a non too humble opinion.

The AC letter writer is awful. The most cursory search of the postings on this board shows a really huge number of posts panning this part of the program, and virtually no supporters.

I think the application Lawrence is developing shows a great deal of promise. When it is finished, we will be able to create letters in AC that are the equal of, say, E-clinicalworks. That is, they will look like they are written by professionals and not intellectually challenged middle-schoolers.

Software development is not for idiots, and a lot of time is involved. If everyone that has taken the time to post their displeasure with the AC letterwriter contributed to Lawrence's effort, we might really make a giant leap upward in terms of a professional EMR. I would challenge you all to do so.
