I hate to burst your bubble, but if you did not upgrade to Version 6 by October 3, you cannot report for 2011.
You must use the certified version for a full 3 months in 2011 to report for 2011. Here is the link with the timetable from Medicare:
https://www.cms.gov/ehrincentiveprograms Also, the statistics are counted using ALL patients, not just Medicare patients.
But, there is good news.
That is, you can start the incentive program in either 2011 or 2012 for the initial 3 month reporting and still qualify for the full amount of incentives over the next 5 years.
