Ditto on all the Fujitsu recommendations, I have used the 4120c for about 5 years and literally have scanned hundreds of thousands of pages without any issues. This unit was several hundred dollars at the time and came with full version of Adobe Acrobat; retrospectively it was worth every penny.
This particular unit is business-grade. I do not buy any home-use tech products for use in the office.
